We use our mobile phones for so many things - calling services, applying for jobs, searching the internet, or simply keeping in touch with our loved ones. For young people of diverse genders, sexualities, and/or intersex variations, especially those at risk of or experiencing homelessness, a phone can mean freedom. Another way we help young people keep in touch is through Opal card top-ups. Whether they need help getting to a doctor’s appointment, to a job interview, or just to attend Twenty10’s drop-in program, these tickets allow LGBTQIA+ young people to get where they need to go.
