Help reach children and families with urgent supplies.
A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake has devastated communities across Myanmar. Over a thousand people have died. Many more are missing.
Millions felt the massive quake on 28 March 2025. The earthquake triggered
tremors across Thailand, Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and China. In
central Myanmar, it pulled down buildings and destroyed infrastructure.
Even before this disaster, nearly half the country lived in poverty, with
children especially vulnerable. Now, thousands are without food, clean water or
safe shelter.
For more than 30 years, World Vision has been serving in Myanmar. Our local
teams are already on the ground, assessing the damage and delivering urgent
aid.
We are providing emergency food, clean water, shelter, and hygiene kits to
protect children and families in this critical time.
