$52 can provide personal support to a person with blood cancer in hospital during weekly visitors by one of our dedicated Blood Cancer Support Coordinators located nationwide. Hospital can be a frightening experience for a person diagnosed with a serious illness. Many patients are reluctant to discuss their fears with family and friends because they are often worried (mistakenly) that their family may not be coping and do not want to burden their family further. Our committed and caring team of Blood Cancer Support Coordinators, all with allied health and hospital experience, interface with the patient in the hospital setting, listening to a patient’s concern about themselves, their illness and their family and offering the patient with meaningful support. Your valuable gift will allow us to support people and their families living with blood cancer when they it the most.
