Having lived a rough life on the streets with a poor diet, many rescued cats that come into out care require urgent dental treatment and surgery. They present with painful gum disease, and infected or broken teeth. Left untreated, it can lead to a loss of appetite as it's too painful for them to eat. Some also require multiple surgeries before they are relieved of their dental disease.
