Backpack Beds - emergency crisis shelter for a street sleeping homeless person. Backpack Bed for a street sleeping homeless person without shelter.

- In 61% of requests for crisis accommodation none was available (AIHW 2012)
- Up to 21% of those sleeping on the streets have reported suffering from hypothermia, frostbite or trench foot. (MS2H 2010)
500 homeless agencies across Australia provide Backpack Beds to homeless people without shelter - the Backpack is an all weather protected lightweight bed. Only 3kg the backpack also enables belongings to be carried and has a lockable pocket.
